How can I recover if I forget my pattern?
The pattern is one of the two factors that secure your Solident wallet.
If you forget it you won’t lose access permanently, but you’ll need to go through a fresh biometric verification flow.
Here’s how recovery works:
Open the Solident dApp on your device.
Authenticate with your face scan this is still recognized as your primary identity anchor.
Once verified, you can reset and create a new pattern.
The new pattern is hashed and encrypted, then bound again to your biometric template.
Future roadmap:
Social recovery and trusted contacts may be added in later phases.
This will provide another layer of safety while still keeping recovery private and decentralized.
So even if you forget the pattern, your face remains the master key to recover and rebind your wallet access.
