What happens if I switch devices?

Solident works as a dApp, so you don’t need to install anything. You can open it on any new device directly through the web interface.

Here’s what happens when you switch:

1. Open Solident dApp on the new device.

2. Perform a fresh face scan and input your pattern.

3. The system checks them against your encrypted backup (stored automatically in decentralized storage).

4. If both match, your wallet, balances, and history are restored.

Additional protection:

• Any old device can be revoked if lost or stolen.

• Previous sessions expire once you authenticate on the new device.

This makes your identity portable tied to your face + pattern, not tied to a single phone or computer.
